I'm looking for an undergraduate course in english at saarland universitat but without success. The german courses start the next year, and the intensive english one in November... i gonna take both at EAFIT, because have no time to move around the city between course, class and fluid.

The next semester i'll work in fluid full time, gonna study german and english... it means that i have to take few credits at eafit.
With all that in mind where is the desire to study maths in U de A ?? ... its a problem to solve in the lebenplan.

Actually CCNA is the thing out of focus... but it's easy and is not time consuming.

Tomorrow is the lebenplan day... the day to finally stop thinking and thinking but take decisions... After that i gonna know the really possibilities to go germany in 1 or 2 years. The big problem is the money... but leave this analysis for tomorrow.

Back to my old desire.... speak English.

Well, today i was talking with two of my best friends, and may be two of the best people i have meet (rafa, michael).
Thanks to them I'm opening my mind and now i have to plan a deliverable named Lebenplan.

I have to define formally a general objective of my life, specific ones, requirements, and more... now I'm thinking 'bout the integrated management system at Fluid... I'll do something like that.

Where?... How much it gonna take?... that stuff i have to estimate as quickly as possible.

By now i know that i wanna go Germany, i like algorithms, maths, programming, security and networks... but quoting a wise man: "you have to focus"... an strategy may be to rate all of this areas to make a choice.

OK.. there is the core-dump of my actual context:
today 20061012 (aaammdd), i don't know any 'bout German, have basic knowledge of English, haven't a focus, I'm projects engineer but not a process leader at Fluid, have 69 attended credits and 11 registered ones at EAFIT, say that I'm at 5 semester, I'm registered at CCNA Level 2 official course, I'm not a Debian developer but have a signed by two developers pgp key, Have no solved ACM problems but have an idea for the non-stop travel problem, I've basic concepts of algorithms and maths, like basic graph theory, set theory, cardinal numbers, lattices, basic knowledge of groups and abstract algebras, basic knowledge of logic, don't know if time is or not continuous, I'm not member of an investigation group neither a monitor, I'm not a teacher, play a bad song in my broken guitar, live with my parents, I'm a bit disorganized, love my girldfriend, my brothers and friends, have been at Orlando-Florida, Quito-Ecuador, Popayan, San Andres, Cali, Pereira, Caucasia, Ayapel, Necocli, Pasto, Lot of Antioquia places, and have 2000 pesos in my wallet :P

No he dormido bien esta semana, y de hecho estube esperando el findesemana para dormir un poco... hoy sabado debo estudiar mucho, y el domingo a las 6:00am debo estar en el aeropuerto de rionegro despidiendo a mi abuela. La noche del viernes era perfecta para dormir un poco... pero a las 2:00am de esta madugada me dio por que no me dormia hasta no instalar linux en mi iPod...
Aunque fue una grata experiencia ahora debo descanzar... luego escribire sobre lo bueno y lo malo del ipodzilla y su nueva version modular.

Luego de comer una deliciosa pizza, en compañia de unos muy buenos amigos... nada peor que pasar el resto de la noche aprendiendo procedimientos rigurosos para construir artefactos que permitan analizar la estructura gramatical de una palabra, dada una gramatica formal, o analisis sintáctico. Suena bastante aburrido y yo esparaba que fuera así, pero sin embargo fue un proceso divertido y ahora rondan en mi cabeza estos 3 parsers y no puedo evitar cada que cierro los ojos ver una imagen de alguno de ellos y escuchar voces repitiendo los pasos a seguir para construir las tablas de parsing.

Construcción de parsers, dada una gramatica formal:

LL(1): Left to right Left-most derivations, lookahead by 1

Se construye la tabla de primeros y siguientes
Se construye tabla (terminales vs no-terminales)
para cada producción M->a se ubica en la posicion (M,prim(a)) = M->a
si la cadena vacia pertenece al conjutno prim(a), entonces se procede asi:
(M,sig(a)) = M->a , para cada sig(a)
con esta tabla se puede verificar la validez de una cadena de entrada, construyendo la tabla (pila-cadena-producción). Se comienza con el simbolo noterminal principal en la pila ($M) y la cadena de entrada con signo pesos al final. Luego se busca en la tabla de parsing que produccion se debe seguir estando en el simbolo del tope de la pila con el simbolo terminal de la cadena de entrada.

Desde hace mucho tiempo me he preguntado si quiciera estudair matemáticas en la nacional...

Cada vez tenía una disculpa diferente para no hacerlo, la ultima de la que me acuerdo era que no me daba el tiempo... fue entonces cuando entre a hacer parte del fluidsignal group y comprendí luego de muchos diálogos acompañados de bebidas deshinibidoras, que hasta ahora en mi vida no he aprovechado el tiempo al máximo... Ahora estoy decidido a hacerlo

Falta aclarar como será el ingreso... por que del pensum hay unas materias que en realidad no quisiera volver a ver.

Pienso presentarme para junio del 2007 y entonces cada semestre matriculare pocas materias de matemáticas... uno o dos... no se cual sea el mínimo a matricular en la unal, la idea no es ejercer como matemático... simplemente es disfrutar con cada clase de topología, lógica, teoría de números, grafos... y para la tésis plantear un teoría abstracta que intente formalizar cuestiones sociales, o del comportamiento humano... mm.. ahora pienso en la pregunta de rafa gonzalez "Que es la inteligencia?"... buena pregunta... Estoy buscando mi pregunta y quiero tener algo mas claro para dedicar el esfuerzo del proyecto final de sistemas a esa pregunta...

En fin... debo pulir mucho mas mi enfoque, pero con cuidado... que es delicado y lo puedo rayar...

Los axiomas de Peano o postulados de Peano definen de manera exacta al conjunto de los números naturales. Fueron establecidos por Peano (1858-1932), matemático italiano, en el siglo XIX.

Básicamente, los naturales se pueden construir a partir de 5 axiomas fundamentales:

1 es un número natural. (es decir, el conjunto de los números naturales es no vacío)
Si a es un número natural, entonces a+1 también es un número natural (llamado el sucesor de a).
1 no es sucesor de ningún número natural. (primer elemento del conjunto)
Si hay dos números naturales a y b tales que sus sucesores son diferentes entonces a y b son números naturales diferentes.
Axioma de inducción: si un conjunto de números naturales contiene al 1 y a los sucesores de cada uno de sus elementos entonces contiene a todos los números naturales.

Los axiomas de Peano tal como fueron escritos (en latín), fueron

el 1 es un número
El sucesor inmediato de un número también es un número
1 no es el sucesor inmediato de ningún número
Dos números distintos no tienen el mismo sucesor inmediato
Toda propiedad perteneciente a 1 y al sucesor inmediato de todo número que también tenga esa propiedad pertenece a todos los números (inducción matemática)

El hecho de considerar el 0 como natural o no es tema de controversia. Normalmente se considera que lo es según si se necesita o no.

Tambien genera controversia en fluid el hecho de afirmar que los número naturales los define Peano de esta forma... pero eso son discuciones generadas por la ignorancia tanto de mis compañeros como mía y ladefinicion canónica de ingeniero:

Para todo x, x es ingeniero sii x habla con propiedad de todo y, siendo y aquello que x desconoce.

dado que aún no soy ingeniero esto no aplica estrictamente para mi, pero mis compañeros cumplen la hipotesis y por tanto, es cierto el teorema.

Luego de recorrer las aventuras de varios blogs me he dado cuenta que muchas veces me he negado la oportunidad de conocer otras formas de vivir, otras disciplinas, otras culturas...

Creo que debo hablar mas seguido con Federico e ir a una pelicula de esas aburridas en blanco y negro, ir a los conciertos de la sinfonica de EAFIT, y conocer los museos de la ciudad, que ahora me parece increible e inperdonable que no conozca. Hablare con Rafa y Jorge para hacer una listica de literatura y practicare mas seguido con mi guitarra.

Que bueno darme cuenta de tantas cosas, que malo no haberlo hecho antes y por mi propia cuenta

Semana 9, semana sin sueño...

Esta semana he dormido aproximadamente 3 horas diarias... y espero el fin de semana para dormir profundamente.

Estoy en busca del tiempo optimo para dormir... y creo que definitivamente es mas de 3 horas.... la proxima semana procurarédormir unas 4 o 5 y compararé los resultados.

Definitivamente quiero llevar una vida dedicada a estudiare investiga de lo que me guste, seguiré consejos de buenso amigos como miguel, rafa y rafa: encontraré mi pregunta antes de que sea muy tarde y dedicaré mi vida a intentar darle respuesta dejarle el camino a otros para que la resulvan.

Creo que este semestre he crecido mucho y he cambiado la forma de ver la vida, como dijo newton :
"Si he conseguido ver más lejos, es porque me he aupado en hombros de gigantes (...)", Por eso quiero agradecer a Rafa Alvarez, Rafa Gonzalez, Miguel, Mauro Gomez, Chepas, Graciela Villegas, Manuel SIerra, Juan G. Lalinde, Henry Laniado, y demás Gigantes que han ofrecido sus hombros para dejarme conocer mas conchas hermosas como lo dice newton:
"(...)es como si hubiese sido un muchacho que juega en la orilla del mar y se divierte de tanto en tanto encontrando un guijarro más pulido o una concha más hermosa, mientras el inmenso océano de la verdad se extendía, inexplorado frente a mi"

De este modo creo que cada semestre tendré una materia virtual llamada "Artes" en la cual me dedicaré, bien sea solo u ojalá en compañía de buenos amigos, a estudiar el arte mas bella llamada Matemática.

Si quiero ser disciplinado dedo armar un pensum comlpleto y planear cada semestre apartir de ahora con cada un de las materias y el tiempo que dedicaré a participar del fluidsignal group, además es claro que debo perfeccionar mis idiomas como Ingles, Alemán y Esperanto. Con respecto a lo primero, tengo una primera idea de loq eu podré cursar en "Artes" el próximo semestre..

Quien me vende tiempo ?

Lamentablemente, la vida es corta y el tiempo pasa rapido....

Tengo mucho pro hacer, quiero disfrutar con tantas cosas que hay por conocer... pero temo que no alcance a realizar cada una de mis metas simplemente por culpa del tiempo.

Debido a que no lograré hacer todas las cosas que quiero, debo conformarme como mortal que soy y si queiro disfrutar mi vida, es mejor escojer de todo es espectro del conocimiento por obtener, de verdades por descubrir, las pocas cosas que en realidad pueda explotar al máximo y tal vez contribuir en algo a la humanidad.

Por ahora, en esta aventura por conocerme y saber cuales son mis mas profundos deseos, capacidades, debilidades y limitaciones....
he construido el siguiente cuadro que de alguna forma ilustra mis gustos de forma jerarquica y sus relaciones de composicion o dependencia.

Haciendo una simple inspección, en este momento de mi vida, creo que me inclinaré por la Algoritmia, sin embargo dada al dificultad e importancia de esta decision, he decidido darme un prudente plazo de 1 año, para explorar cada una de las disciplinas enunciadas en el cuadro, y asi poder tomar la mejor descicion. y Honrar mi espiritu.

En rpiemr lugar ampliaré mi conocimiento en Logica, con la ayuda del libro "Lógicas no clásicas" y couching de Manuel sierra. Dedicaré mi tiempo "libre" a comprender la teoria de grafos y grupos, al tiempo que aplico estos conocimeintos en la algoritmia resolviendo problemas de la ACM y calculando la comlpejidad de mis algoritmos. Luego de las teorias dedicaré mi tiempo entocnes a la algoritmia y las formas clásicas de atacar los problemas. Propondré un grupo de investigacion en el tema a Juan Guillermo Lalinde.

En este punto he dejado por fuera a la filosofía, ya que aunque es la base de todas mi smetas comose ve en el cuadro, por ahora no la veo muy clara y no me apasiona.

Estos problemas requieren capacidades como programador y mis armas para jugar serán C++ y Python, Asi el paso a seguir es ser un experto en las herramientas, nada que unos buenos libritos y los 3 puntos de apoyo no solucionen. De este modo necesito conceptos de seguridad y buenas practicas de ingenieria de software para aplicarlas al software que solucione cada problema. En fluid puedo obtener el conocimiento sobre seguridad y ponerlo en practica, y en clasede ingenieria de software con la ayuda del profesor puedo obtener grandes conocimientos de modelado. Una vez tenga en mi poder a Python buscaré un problema que involucre aplicaciones web y para eso necesito conocimientos de redes y protocolos, los cuales voy obtentiendo en CCNA y a travez de otras metas propuestas como la comprencion de los libros de R.Stevens.

Ahi esta the big picture, y este post como primer intento de formalizar un poco el desorden en mi cabeza.

Parece increible que aun limitando el espectro de cosas por hacer, el tiempo se ve corto... me pregunto ahora si este es el fin ultimo de mi existir....

El campo subred obtiene bits del campo de host.

Problema: Tengo menos IP's que redes..... SUBNETTING!

e.j. : add: 200. 12. 180. 0

mask: 255. 255. 255. 0

Tengo 8 bits de host, de izquierda a derecha de forma consecutiva

2^n = #subredes

Si el ejemplo tiene 7 subreds (en la topologia), entonces soluciona la ecuacion para #subredes = 7.

en este caso n = 3.

selecciono ese numero (3 en este caso) de bits del hostId, de izquierda a derecha

cuento con los 3 bits desde 1 hasta el numero maximo (001, 010, 0111, 100, 101, 10, 111)

si la direccion dada es: 200.12.180.0, entonces la primera subred es : 200.12.180.0

y se enumeran asi: 200.12.180.64, 96, 128, 160, 192, 224. Es decir... desde la cero, de 32 en 32 hasta el numero menor de 255.

si la mascara dada fue 255.255.255.0, entonces la mascara de subred es esta misma mas los bits dados por la ecuacion anterior... es decir 3. = 255.255.255.224

Ahora el broadcast de cada red se saca poniendo los bits de host en uno.

e.j:

200.12.180.0, 255.255.255.224, bcast = 200.12.180.31

200.12.180.32, "" , bcast = 200.12.180.63

Hoy tuvo lugar mirpimer prueba de intrución en fluid y fue una grata experiencia. aunque no tanto ya que la arquitectura estaba muy bien diseñada y pues no hubo grandes logros. Sin embargo se hacercan las pruebas internas y ya sin esos molestos ALG's tengo la esperanza de poder mostrar las capacidades de la piraña jajaja!! ya verás qmail, no sabes lo que te espera!

Muy bien desde mi entrada a fluid he tomado una decision importante en mi vida.

APRENDER PYTHON

Y viviré con esa idea en mente hasta que logre hacer algo medio digno.
por estos tiempos turbulentos no creo tenér tiempo pero apartir de la fecha me pongo un plazo maximo de 20 días para comprender los conceptos básicos de python, su historia y hombre... un hola mundo pues.

El miercoles se entrega el ensayo y ya se debe tener listos los temas a tratar en la exposicion, de lo contrario hay problemas!

El jueves es la exposicion de chepas, y es el día para aprenderse todo el tema a exponer, una opcion dado el poco tiempo es dividir los temas entre los tres expositores.

41 Días en Fluid

Este es la primer entrada en el blog y quiero dedicarla a la empresa en donde trabajo, fluidsignal group.

Llevo ya 41 días trabajando en esa marvillosa organización, rodeado de excelentes personas.
Estoy feliz de ser parte de este grupo de personas dedicadas a disfrutar de la vida, que gozan con lo que hacen, que son apacionados y ademas con quienes me siento identificado y compartimos gustos.

Espero poder aportar mucho a esta compañia la cual quiero y me siento orgullozo de hacer parte de ella.
